Synchronous Objects

Synchronous Objects is a new interactive web project developed by William Forsythe in collaboration with Ohio State’s Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD) and the Department of Dance. Starting with Forsythe’s masterwork One Flat Thing, reproduced as the research resource, the project reveals the deep structures of choreographic thinking in order to enrich cross-disciplinary investigation and creativity. Forsythe’s work is noted for its Laban-based influences in his conceptualization of space.
